Ace Parking employs more than 6,000 people in offices throughout the western United States and manages more than 400 locations servicing 200,000 customers per day. In the last 10 years Ace Parking has grown significantly—enough to overwhelm its PeopleSoft 7.5 implementation. The aging hardware was barely capable of supporting their data, and vendor support for the software was on the verge of retiring. Ace Parking knew that hardware and software upgrades were essential, but was caught in a cycle of forced software upgrades that meant constantly putting off the much-needed equipment upgrades.
