Olin Corporation Focuses on the Future with TomorrowNow Support Services

Olin Corporation is committed to long-term growth and prosperity for its customers, employees, and shareholders. It holds to the highest ethical standards in each of the communities it operates in. To help meet these goals, the company currently uses PeopleSoft Human Resources, Base Benefits, Payroll for North America, FSA Administration, eBenefits, eDevelopment, ePay, eProfile to manage its human resources. With major enterprise software migration plans in the works, Olin enlisted TomorrowNow to support its HR software so that it could focus on its transition project.

Two of Olin’s three divisions have implemented SAP as their preferred enterprise software application with the third division considering an SAP implementation at some future date. With Olin’s business units committing their business processes to SAP, it was only logical for Corporate Human Resources to evaluate the SAP HR Module as a future replacement for their PeopleSoft applications.

"The SAP HR Module has matured a great deal since Olin’s decision to implement PeopleSoft in 1995. We could see no reason to spend money on another PeopleSoft upgrade when it was becoming more evident that Olin could run its entire business processing on SAP," explained Benny Daigle, Olin’s Manager of PeopleSoft Products. "Plus, we were never satisfied that we were receiving our money’s worth from the annual fee we paid to PeopleSoft. When we looked around for alternatives to the PeopleSoft upgrade cycle, not only was TomorrowNow the most organized vendor with an excellent track record for support, but most importantly SAP had recently acquired them. With SAP’s backing we feel comfortable that TomorrowNow is going to be around for the long-term."
